Effective Immediately

Beginning Monday May 4, 2020 we will be doing a soft opening. We are only allowing a couple patrons in at a time, so there may be times that our patrons will have to wait on the porch or in their vehicle.

Our library might feel a little different, we will be sanitizing things between each customer, and we will be practicing safe social distancing. Our check in process will be a little different also, for the foreseeable future we ask that you put your returning material in the book bin as you come in the door where it will sit for at least 24 hours before we sanitize it, check it in and place back on the shelf.

Your safety and the safety of our staff is our priority. We hope you can help us with these temporary but necessary measures we are taking to keep everyone as safe as we can.

We love and miss everyone and can’t wait to see and visit with all of you. If you don’t feel comfortable coming in to the library just yet, please call 319-293-3766 or email us at keolib@netins.net to let us check out some material for you to pick up on the porch.

For the safety of library staff and your neighbors, we ask that you do not use the library as a gathering place at this time. We are happy to assist you to find and retrieve materials, answer reference questions, and offer short-term computer use.? Thank you for keeping our town & county safe!
